Be Brief, Brother ... (listening to McFadden & Whitehead)

If it keeps on rainin', levee's goin' to break
If it keeps on rainin', levee's goin' to break
And all these people have no place to stay
Oh cryin' won't help you, prayin' won't do no good
Oh cryin' won't help you, prayin' won't do no good
When the levee breaks, mama, you got to lose

—"When the Levee Breaks," Memphis Minnie, from a 1929 recording

Ondale ... talking about gente ... in the recent issue of Dollars and Sense, there's firme reads about ... pues ... what's the right palabra ... labor ... unions ... working class ... working people ... the gente ... the exploited ... workers ... slave labor ... the welders ... campesinos ... peasants ... the makers ... proletariat ... the groove ... pues, you get my groove ... ondale ... pues the reads cover the state of the organized working class .... there's praise for the SEIU, Teamsters, etc. breaking away the AFL-CIO and creating Change To Win (CTW) ... then there's resentment, advice, criticism, etc, etc, etc ...

Is CTW sleeping with Republicans ... it's the working class, estupid ... and unions must become grassroots (in sanTana) to survive ... etc, etc, etc ... after all ... suit or blues ... das kapital or credit card ... public or private ... management or rank-n-file ... we're all trabajadores!! ...

Simon ... after the Califas special election, the discussion about labor's future is a must ... one the one hand, voters elected former union organizer Antonio Villaraigosa as mayor of LA plus Martin Ludlow, the son of an A.M.E. preacher, recently resigned as LA Councilman to replace the much-loved Miguel Contreras as head of the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor ... these movidas have made observers coin LA as the center of the current US labor movement ...

At the same time county and city WORKERS, there's the California Teacher's Association (CTA) spending like loco as they fight against Props 75 (paycheck deception plan) & 76 (cut school funding act) ... a union financing like loco to fight a gov whose trying to break honest workers ...

Ondale trabajadores ... check more on this pinche (sanTana) working class situation at the Dollar and Sense Roundtable ... Turmoil in the AFL-CIO

Later and this tequila shooter's for you, brothers y hermanas ...

As the Latino capital, SanTana should be in the union ranks and should be working with brother Martin Ludlow.
