Katrina screams, Fox screams, la migra screams, let's all pinche scream

Pues, the picture is about to take a pinche turn ... simon .... in Barrio Katrina where federal disaster planning is dead .... simon .... hey, did you hear que presidentes de Latino America y Mexico are sending aid over to help their citizens in estados affected by la mala Katrina .... simon ... tens of thousands of Latin Americans, most from Mexico and Honduras, were living in the New Orleans area prior to the hurricane. President Vicente Fox urged Mexicans to seek help from emergency officials during a televised address Friday in both Spanish and English. He said his government had reached an agreement with U.S. authorities that "those who were not documented at the time will not be subject to any pressure or persecution whatsoever."

It is estimated que unos 40,000 Mexicans and 150,000 Hondurans were living in Louisiana, most in New Orleans ... Brazil reports 10,000 genti alli and Peru's Foreign Ministry located 10 ... El Salvador said it had 9,600 citizens living in the area affected by Katrina ... Panama, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Venezuela, Trinidad and Tobago, and Chile also reported efforts to reach displaced citizens.

Pues, while the aid from Latino America sounds good, the US has also agreed to send more than 200 Border Patrol agents and 300 other U.S. Customs and Border Protection personnel to Barrio Katrina .... what's up with W's pinche timing .... hay man, sabes que, the undocumented latinos and Mexicanos in Barrio Katrina van a correr and will continue to do whatever it takes to survive in Barrio Katrina but with the INS around, they won't go to emergency shelters .... as a matter of fact they may continue "taking" cosas such as food and clothing just to survive which would put them in harm's pinche way .... simon ... they won't believe US deportation policy is at a pinche freeze alli .... chale, ain't no time out in Barrio Migra ... chale ... and why should they after how Orlean's folk were treated .... although some might find it wise to return because I'm sure anything is better than Barrio Katrina right now eses .... it will be interesting to see how the consulate offices from Mexico and Latino America handle the INS presence .... simon, I hope all goes well ....

If Latin American countries are willing to forego their problemas at home and reach out to their own residents in los EU, then the INS should really keep cosas alli cool ... simon, the INS should just be ojos to patrol and not sweep and clean ..... doing migra sweeps would be bad ... I hope all goes pues bien but if migra sweeps pasa, Republicanos would lose almost all points to our barrio and then I don't think they could do anything to make up ... chale ... they'd be knee deep in race friction at the pinche homefront ... and nothing could bail them out even if they put us in Rehnquist's sapatos ....
