Carne Asada Bloodline (listening to Malo)

Another semana de la raza ... hipanic heritage month, 16 de septiembre ... Gustavo continues to pound away in Barrio Grande OC x13 reminding us that Natavio Lopez is a "pendejo" ... and now Latino Republicanos follow ... they declare the California Republican party is "politically stupid" ... hey, we've been telling them for anos, but they don't listen ... se creen la chusma ... Sen. Joe Dunn de sanTana is running for State Controller ... and sanTana City Councilman and scholar Jose Solorio gains una chinga de endorsements for his 69th District Seat campaign ....

Demo campaing managers Roger Salazar y Andrew Acosta are now blogistas and come in blasting with California Democratic Majority .... and they're making carne asada out of el gavado gov ... referring to him as a "follow-through" kind of guy as "he’s been staying the course of not appointing any qualified Latinos to judgeships, his cabinet or his senior advisors." They count the Latino Band-Aids el gavado gov wears and beg the pregunta "whose in charge" as Maria's husband begins his reelection campaign ...

La Bloga provides us with 33 pages of books and reviews from Chicano(a) and Latino(a) Letters ... a firme list ...

... and finally a 16 de septiembre "que vato" from the Economist ... remember when Mexico's Mr. Fox took office in 2000 amid high hopes ... he was Mexico's first president from outside the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) in decades ... his slogan of cambio (change) resonated with a public sick of the PRI's venality... but in many respects, dice El Economist and others, change has remained just a slogan ... promised reforms of everything from education to energy have failed to materialise ... Fox blames it all on the Mexican Congress .. he argues, lamely, that his failure to impose his will on congressmen at least shows he is a democrat, not a dictator ...

With that, black magic calls me ...
